CTR-1 is a device to measure number of light impulses produced during consumption of 1KWh & during no load condition. There is a relation between the energy consumed buy the load and emitted pulses by energy meter, A LED is available on meter face plate to conform this relation & manufacturer displays a constant figure on face plate of meter (for example 3200 imp/KWh). During no load conditions, meter should not produce more light pulses than allowed (Allowed as per standard formula). Following are the
